Pony club:
As an approved Pony Club centre, Barton Field Farm offers Pony Club lessons for children under the age of 25. These lessons include both riding and stable management allowing the members to gain achievement badges and work towards progressive tests. In addition to lessons, we run Pony Club events for all members, giving them the chance to try out new activities or gain different achievement badges. Special events have included:
- Pony Racing Day – learning how to become a jockey through tuition on a mechanical horse, practice on a real horse and a ‘fit to ride’ training session
- Visit from the Kent Fire Service – a chance to see a fire engine and speak to the firefighters achieving their fire safety badge
- Christmas Jumper Rally – a session for all Pony Club members to practice their show jump building skills and learning how to ride a course

All riders must wear a BHS standard hard hat, boots with a heel and riding gloves.
