Sue Brown – Owner
Sue and Natalie founded BFFEC in 2002. Sue lives on site and can often be seen in her garden feeding the birds or looking after her granddaughter Hettie. Sue owns Freddie, Felicity, Diamond and the donkeys.
Natalie Brown- Owner and instructor
Sue and Natalie founded BFFEC in 2002. Natalie lives on site, teaches lessons and runs the fun and exciting pony days. Nat’s favourite will always be Flitwick, the pony who started it all.
Gemma Buggins- Manager
Gemma is our yard manager, she can either be found hiding in the office or out and about on the yard. Gemma’s favourites are Freddie and Ozzie.
Katie Smith- Instructor
Katie learnt to ride at BFFEC. She grew up riding Freddie and lots of the other horses and ponies on the yard. Freddie will always be the love of Katie’s life, but Bertie is a very close second!
Grace Blackband- Instructor
Grace is a new friendly face on the yard who runs our pony club stable management classes. First person to find out who her favourite pony is gets a shout out! Although I heard recently that she loves Lolly!
Fran Sagina- Instructor
Fran has been working on and off at BFFEC for many many years! She is fully qualified and an amazing dressage rider. Fran previously worked for Andrew Gould
Ellie Lyden- Equine coordinator
Ellie can always be found on the yard sorting out the horses, tack and generally keeping the yard spick and span. She loves to stop and have a natter and is always available to answer questions. Her favourite horse is Harry.
Nikki Gregory- Instructor and part-time assistant
Nikki is our part-time member of staff who does a lot of odd jobs for us. She owns Lolly and Mulligan, and can usually be found out hacking or competing with one of them.
Peter- Handyman
Peter is our handyman, who is always running around mending fences, clearing up after the horses and doing our general farmyard maintenance. Peter has won the local ploughing championships many, many times!
Macy Long- Equine Assistant
Macy helps out on the yard whenever she can. When she isn’t helping out she is with the love of her life, Guinness!
Shannon Stannard- Equine Assistant
Shannon does the tacking up for us on Monday mornings and is now the proud owner of Gary!
