Are there any age restrictions?

The minimum age is 4 years old and we have no maximum age limit.

Can I borrow a hat and body protector?

We have a wide range of hats and body protectors to fit all sizes, which you can borrow free of charge for your riding lesson. We do ask our clients to buy their own hats and body protectors if they start to come for lessons regularly.

How much will the lesson cost?

Does it matter if I haven’t ridden before?

No! We welcome all ages and abilities at Barton Field Farm, and we have a range of lovely ponies for you to learn on.

Can I bring a friend to watch?

Yes! We have a viewing gallery in our indoor school for friends and family to watch and a seating area for our outside school.

Can I come and look round?

Of course. Please find a member of staff upon arrival and they will give you a quick tour so you can see the facilities and meet the horses.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Full lesson charged must be paid if the lesson is cancelled inside 24 hours.
